Choose your own post

A text (again) the other night from my mom:

"NEW POST PLEASE!"

The problem is...too much is going on. So what do I post about?

Do you want to hear about how I can't see my own toes unless I lean forward?

Or would you like to see a picture of Lennon's bedtime entourage (which gets bigger and more ridiculous every night)?

How about Lennon with a soap mohawk?

How about some belly shots I took of myself tonight because Tod is never home and when he is I don't think he wants to take pictures of me in my pink pants to show what my belly looks like at 33 weeks pregnant like the last time I was pregnant and asked him to take my picture and he asked why? so then I started crying because I was pregnant and sort of fat and then I felt stupid?

Or do you want me to tell you how I couldn't decide which looked better -- leg bent, leg straight? So you get both because p.s. I don't care. Oh, and p.s. I REALLY don't care if I wear this exact outfit around town all day long: to the post office, to the bank, to Tod's office, to the park. And then notice how I straightened the towel and moved a couple things around for pic #2 because I want you to think my bathroom is super clean.

Or I could do a post where I ask: Is it a boy or a girl?

Or would you like to know how EVERY SINGLE PERSON who stays at our house asks, "Where's the jam?" and I say, "We don't have jam," and they say, "EVERYONE has JAM," so then both my mother-in-law AND my mom go to the store and buy jam for us.

Well here's a mild example of why we don't have jam. And I mean -- this is MILD.
Or let me tell you a story about how the wind blew so hard last week it literally LIFTED this (see above)...

...and blew it into this (see above). So I told Tod what I found at the bottom of the pool and he used his two bare hands and He-Manned the whole thing out. That Tod, I swear...

How about some pictures of what I do when I need to file stuff for Tod in his office? I go to youtube.com and type in "sea turtles swimming" and I get a good 30 minutes of stuff done.

Or here's a post about the time I turned my back for maybe 20 seconds and Lennon silently dismembered the dishwasher while saying, "I broke it. I broke it. Sorry Mama."

Or how about what life looks like from my point of view (this is right after pancakes and syrup; most of the syrup ends up in his scalp somehow):

Or finally what about a post where I dare anyone to disagree that the blind boy (I'd tell you his name but his performances are so forgettable...) on American Idol would not be on the show if he could see like everyone else. Listen, I have nothing against him as a person. But as far as this competition is concerned, please get him off the show.

And Megan says, "I'd buy his album!" My response: Bull-freaking-crap.

This was amazing! You are way too cute! I love your post. Lennon is getting so big and so cute. I can't believe you still don't know what you are having. I don't know how you can handle that anticipation! BTW the shirt is from Urban Outfitters. They have a ton of those cool v-neck shirts. That one looks a lot cuter when it is not stretched out from not washing it and a white shirt underneath.

OK. . . you have the cutest pregnant belly ever! You are ALL belly! I am so glad I don't live next to you.

And I love your bathroom, messed up towel or not.

And I'll predict girl.....

Ummm...I choose none of the above, so can you please keep posting until I do?;)

I choose American Idol and, as we discussed before, I totally agree with you. I admire the guys, but he's not the best.

You seriously look like you have a white basket ball under your shirt. SERIOUSLY. So cute! I miss being pregnant.
I would DIE if Monet ate like Lennon. I really would not know what to do.
That many stuffed animals to sleep? Aren't you worried he is going to suffocate? You won't leave him alone in the tub for two seconds but you will put pillow like animals surrounding his face when he sleeps..... sounds wrong to me. :) jk

And you better believe I'd buy hat album. He is the perfect mix of Nickel Creek and Josh Groban. Beautiful voice.

I love your blog.

Makes me smile and lol from ear to ear.

Seriousely. Cracked me up. I enjoy it much.

.. and I am a bad baby gender guesser, so I'm not going there. Congrats on baby number 2, Lennon will be an awesome big borther!

You are so funny-

And you look great prego! But I vote for the leg bent photo- only because the towel is straight in that one:)

I hope you got that I was trying to trick you into posting more stuff for us to vote on just for selfish reasons...it's very funny that Lennon is such a busy kid, yet he'll sit in front of fake turtles for 30 min...are you sure you're not slipping something into his drink?

And I have to add that I TOTALLY agree about that Scott kid- I guarantee that EVERYONE is thinking what you just said but no one has the guts to say it. And I knew the moment I saw his audition that he would make it on the show for that very reason. He's a really nice guy and a good singer at his family Christmas parties but that's it.

Thanks for making me laugh out loud at work. This post kills me! I love it! you look great, and I agree about Scott... enough is enough.

I owe you Holly! Anytime I can hear Jason giggle like a school girl. . . it makes my day! It just seems to happen EVERY time he reads your blog.
I've said it before. . . in my next life, I want your sense of humor.

p.s. I'd be pregnant ALWAYS if I could look as good as you do. but no, I am not so lucky. NOT IN THE LEAST.

I agree that you have a cute pregnant belly! Wish I could say the same about myself. :) And, I'll predict another boy... You'll follow in Ann Dee's footsteps, huh? ;) Love that you have a little worker man taking your dishwasher apart. I have one of those around, too....he just hasn't discovered that appliance, yet. :)

You are so funny Holly. Lennon is getting so big! Your belly is so cute it almost makes me want to be pregnant but not enough :) AND I have to say, TOTALLY agree with the Scott thing... Not that good, realistically, only made it because he is blind. Super sweet kid though. I cried when he got voted off, not because I was sad he was leaving but because I felt bad for him? Because he is so sweet. My guess for the little "it".... Girl
